1993 Suzuki

A particularly significant model in GSX-R history, the 1993 Suzuki GSX-R750WP is part of the first generation of water-cooled GSX-R750s, following the introduction of the water-cooled WN in 1992. The WP brought further development to Suzuki’s new 749cc DOHC 16-valve engine, including revised internal components and a compact design with a low-mounted crankshaft to help keep the centre of gravity low. Combined with its lightweight aluminium chassis, fully adjustable inverted front forks and revised rear suspension, the WP was a major step forward from the earlier air/oil-cooled GSX-Rs. With its distinctive early-1990s styling, compact water-cooled engine and low-centre-of-gravity chassis design, the 1993 GSX-R750WP represents a particularly important and sought-after period in the evolution of Suzuki’s legendary 750.
